+the rest of this is.. what's been going on, what's going on in the future?
+1) Like 8ish months ago, next door to my house, they started jackhammering. 7 days a week. starting at the ass crack of dawn. the town is quite happy to destroy their natural beauty and pave it over with some shitty mcmansions no one can afford. in the scrap lego style, of course. I blame this for my sleep deprevation, which in turn i blame for my general worthlessness and further descent into being consumed by directionless anger, which in turn is the closest i got to an excuse for taking so long on that god damned video, and making so little progress on the video game.
+2) oh btw i'm working on a game :). Godot is the engine i've been waiting for. i even got a real artist to draw for it! i stream development on twitch, because for some inexplicable reason that causes me to be more productive? twitch.tv/homeburger, i have one rule in chat and *i* have more trouble following it than anyone else. ever play fallout shelter, or roller coaster tycoon? kinda like that, but potatoes.
+3) speaking of godot... did you notice how in the last video the ash desert had 2 jarringly distinct visual styles? one was "cinematic quality", i.e., we rendered it directly in blender, which took forever, made it very difficult to get the camera to behave like the point of view of a person wandering on foot, and IMO didn't look any better. exported that, yanked it up in godot, asked it nicely to figure out physics for it, and it went "no prob. i got u." So hopefully the dream of "everything diagetic" can be more achievable, going forward.
+4) remember i fell off a motorcycle? repairs complete and i haven't died yet, not even once!if i was good at this whole "content creation as a job" thing, but with no concern for the content being created, i would have been smart enough to record the process of fixing it. lmao whoops. would you want to hear the stories of the beurocratic nightmares involved with the healthcare? holy fuck i got a bill for like $1800, just for the ride to the hospital. 
+5) job hunt continues. the absolute fucking indignity of a chatbot reviewing your resume. Hey if you need a backend software dev with an understanding of UX that's *apparently* fucking revolutionary, resume on the website, lmao.

+7) the astute listener might have noticed.. scrap lego was voiced by kana, who vanished off the face of the internet. i hope he's doing well. Videos after that were voiced by james, who is a goddamn pro and is worth his price...
+but i don't have that money anymore. so now you and I both have to suffer my actual voice.
+speaking of tragically being unable to outsource to people who are good at things, holy crap did the dark god Algorithm turn out amazing, or what? one day we'll rehire keeno. one day.
+8) oh one more website. arg.rip/beefhaving is a pain to upload, because hugo. don't worry, i'll update that damn thing i swear.
+9) going forward: upcoming videos! i got stuff filmed and blocked out a bit for one where i talk about "what is a passkey, why would it be good if it was done right, and what's happening instead". i plan to come up with a slightly more concise title. and if you generally enjoy hearing me ramble, don't you worry, i have more beef with things than time to express it.
