-3) speaking of godot... did you notice how in the last video the ash desert had 2 jarringly distinct visual styles? one was "cinematic quality", i.e., we rendered it directly in blender, which took forever, made it very difficult to get the camera to behave like the point of view of a person wandering on foot, and IMO didn't look any better. exported that, yanked it up in godot, asked it nicely to figure out physics for it, and it went "no prob. i got u." So hopefully the dream of "everything diagetic" can be more achievable, going forward.
